Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Culture, Radio and TV Committee under the Government of RT are carrying out international conference on the subject:

“Tajik (Persian) language and information’s technology”.

The object of conference: to attract attention of society to the problems of utilization of Tajik language in computer and informative technology.

The conference will be carried out in the following directions:
Tajik (Persian) language and Internet:

-         Internet bases  in Tajik language;

-         sites in Tajik language;

-         teaching by means of Internet, etc.

Compiling computer dictionaries:

-         electronic dictionaries;

-         computer terminography;

-         computer analysis of terminology, etc.

Corpus and computer linguistics:

-         systems of textology;

-         systems of text analysis (interpretation);

-         corpus of Tajik language;

-         corpus compiling on the bases of collected works of poets and writers, separate knowledges and other problems of corpus compiling;

-         electronic translation from other languages in Tajik and vice versa

Electronic systems of teaching:

-         interactive teaching by CD and DVD discs;

-   “on-line” teaching, etc.

Electronic exchange systems of information in Tajik language:

-         legal bases of electronic exchange;

-         creation of “electronic government”, etc.

Electronic edition in Tajik language:

-         edition and utilization of electronic text-books;

-         electronic library, etc.

Text informative exchange by means of mobile technologies (WAP):

-         WAP sites in Tajik language;

-         language database in mobile communications, etc.

Rudaki and Internet:

-         Rudaki on sites;

-         research in the field of Rudaki in Internet sites;

-         study and knowledge of Rudaki  verses by means of Internet;

-         Rudaki contest by means of Internet

Localization on program products:

-         localization on operational systems;

-         localization on office programs;

-         localization on graphic means;

-         localization on means of system design

Conference will take place on 28-29 of May, 2008, in the hall of AS RT.

Present informative letter will be placed on site of AS RT www.ant.tj and on site of Committee on terminology www.termcom in Tajik, Russian, Persian and English languages.
